The film Interstellar was released on 5 November 2014. Directed by Christopher Nolan, it is a science fiction film set in space. It made 701.7 million dollars at the box office with a budget of 165 million dollars, it has been nominated for several Oscars.

In the near future, in the year 2067, the Earth has become unlivable for humans because humanity is going through a serious food crisis. The land has become too arid and uncultivable, and the frequent sandstorms do not help matters.
We follow the story of Cooper, a former NASA pilot who has become a farmer and lives on the family farm with his son and daughter. When a phenomenon that he cannot explain gives him the coordinates of a secret division of NASA. He is then embarked on an expedition to save humanity through space.
Interstellar is a sci-fi film with twists and turns that takes us all over space, with well-known actors playing Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck and Matt Damon.
Interstellar was a worldwide success, and as a reward for this success it got several awards and nominations all over the world, at the Oscars it was nominated for Best Set Design, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Music Score and Best Visual Effects and they won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects. But of course the film has had several awards outside the Oscars.

This film made a big impression on me because it was one of the first films about space that I watched. Interstellar made me love Christopher Nolan's universe, and above all it made me love space. The actors impressed me a lot and especially the lead actor Matthew McConaughey, after watching the film I have watched many of his films.
